Discover, Live & Fulfill God’s Purpose for Your Life
There’s more to life than making friends, being abreast with the latest news, acquiring a degree, getting married and having children. All these things are good and desirable, but God created us for something much more; something with eternal value and significance. I encourage You to pray these prayers to discover, live and fulfill God’s purpose for Your life.
- Father, I thank You that I’m not an accident, I’m not here by mistake or coincidence. Before I was born, You had a purpose for my life. Lord, give me a clearer understanding of Your purpose for my life. Open my eyes and grant me spiritual wisdom, understanding and insight into why I exist and why You have preserved my life thus far (Ephesians 1: 4-5, Ephesians 2:10, Ephesians 1:17-18).
- Father, help me each day to cooperate with Your purpose for my life and not just be busy drifting in an ocean of activities. God work in me to will and act according to Your original plan and purpose for my life. Let my life have a greater significance than my daily routines, qualifications and possessions as all these things will one day pass away. Let my life be poured out into those things that have eternal value and rewards (Ephesians 1:11, Philippians 2:12-13, Matthew 6: 19-20).
- I come against every spirit of confusion. In the name of Jesus, I shall not be confused about God’s will for my life. I shall not be pressured by feelings or people to make crucial decisions concerning my life. I shall be guided aright by the Holy Spirit. I shall discover not miss God’s purpose for my life. I shall fulfill God’s purpose for my life. I shall not live a wasted life in Jesus mighty name, amen (1 Corinthians 14:33, Isaiah 30:21, James 1:5, Romans 12:1-2).
- Lord God, let every good plan of Yours for my life be fulfilled in Jesus mighty name. Father, contend with everything and everyone contending and fighting against Your glorious plan and purpose for my life. Just as You have intended, let it happen in my life; let what You have planned for me stand. Frustrate every evil counsel and plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 14:24, 27, Isaiah 8:10).
- My life shall be an ORIGINAL. I shall be the UNIQUE person God created me to be. I will not give in to carnal comparisons and competition. I shall not exert my time and energy trying to be someone else. O Lord, please fill my life with fresh inspirations, witty ideas and inventions that I don’t have to copy another person’s style and idea (2 Corinthians 10:12, Psalm 139:16, Proverbs 8:12).
- In the name of Jesus, I break every stronghold of procrastination in my life. I come against every spirit of negativity; every spirit of ‘I can’t do it’, ‘It’s not possible’. I can do all things God created me to do through Christ who strengthens me. I bind and resist the spirit of fear and timidity keeping me from manifesting and using my God given talents and gifts. O Lord, my Father, help me to stir up every gift and potential You have deposited in me. Don’t let Your investments in my life be wasted. Help me to use my talents and gifts for Your glory and for the advancement of Your Kingdom (2 Timothy 1:6-7, 1 Corinthians 12:7, 1 Peter 4:10-11).
- Father, in the roll call of heaven’s achievers, let my name be mentioned. Father, please help me to be a light in my generation; let me make a positive difference in my generation. My Lord and My Master, as I serve You and be a blessing to others, please attend speedily to my personal requests. Lift me to higher grounds and saturate my life with awesome testimonies of Your goodness. At the end of my life, don’t let me be a cast away; let heaven celebrate, honour and richly reward me in Jesus mighty name I pray. AMEN and AMEN! (Acts 13:36, Matthew 5:14-16, Matthew 25: 21, 23).
