PRAYERS TO BUILD ON A SOLID FOUNDATION

Without a solid foundation, a building or structure can collapse. When the foundation of a building is faulty, no matter how beautiful the building, after some time, the building will collapse. Our lives can be likened to a building (1 Peter 2:4-5). Just as the foundation of any physical building is important so also the foundation of our lives is very important. If our marriage, finances, business, career or ministry is built on a solid foundation or on the right foundation it will stand. But if our lives are built on a faulty or evil foundation it will crumble.

Pray these prayers to be established on a foundation that can never give way, crash or fall.

O Lord be the architect and builder of my life. In Hebrews 11:10 God is called an architect and builder. Tell God that you don’t want to be the one building your life with your own hands. Tell Him that you want Him to use His own architectural hands to build your life because a house that has God as its architect and builder can never be built on a faulty foundation. Pray this same prayer for your church, a church that has God as her architect and builder can’t be established on a faulty foundation.

If human architects can produce such beautiful architectural designs, imagine how beautiful a life, family, ministry or church that is built by God will look. So pray this prayer: Father, take over the building of my life so your beauty and glory can be seen in every aspect of my life. Pray this same prayer for your church for it is well with your church, it will certainly be well with you. Father, come and build my local church so your beauty and glory can radiate all over the place I have chosen to worship and serve you.

Father, give all pastors, ministers and leaders in the body of Christ the grace to build on no other foundation but the foundation of Christ (1 Corinthians 3:10).  Help them O Lord so they don’t miss it.

Father, give me the grace to build on no other foundation but the foundation of Christ (1 Corinthians 3:10). This prayer is very important because without the grace of God, without God’s help, we can very easily miss it, we can end up focusing on the wrong things.

My Father and my God, replace every faulty foundation in my life with Jesus Christ.

I soak my life in the blood of Jesus. Father, let the precious blood of Jesus Christ, wipe out and erase every evil mark placed on me from my foundation. Wipe out every evil mark of failure, rejection, disappointment, poverty and infirmity. Let all evil marks on my life be removed now.

O Lord, as I pray to you today, visit my foundation today so I can experience a total, permanent and lasting deliverance from every evil prison and chain that has been holding me down (Acts 16:25-26).

O Lord, let your fire go to the foundation of every problem in my life, and consume that problem from its foundation; from its root, from where it started (Deuteronomy 32:22).

O Lord, expose, disgrace and frustrate every ‘Sanaballat’ and ‘Tobiah’ assigned to my life, family and church. O Lord, expose and disgrace every mocker of my life. Let those who are publicly and secretly mocking me and my efforts in building my marriage, children, career, business and ministry be put to shame. Frustrate every evil plan aimed at discouraging me and frustrating me.

Father, help me to be daily grounded and firmly rooted in your word so I  can withstand the storms of life.

I declare and decree that Jesus is the foundation of my life, Jesus is the foundation of my church, because you are our Sure Foundation, we shall not be a carried away, consumed or overwhelmed by any spiritual flood (Isaiah 59:19).

I declare and decree that Jesus is the foundation of my life, Jesus is the foundation of my church. Because you are our Firm Foundation we shall not end up as an abandoned project (Zechariah 3:8-9, Luke 15:29). Declare that your marriage, your children, your ministry, your business, your church shall not be an abandoned project.

I confess and declare that because I am joined to Jesus Christ, because He is my strong foundation and I am linked to the name of the Lord, I will be protected from all manner of evil, I will enjoy answered prayers, I will be remembered, delivered and honoured this year.
