Victory Over Stubborn Problems

In Mark 9:29, Jesus said “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.” There are some problems that prayer alone can’t solve; you need to add fasting to your prayers. I pray for you that every stubborn problem or issue you have been battling with will go as you pray and wait on the Lord. All those spiritual, health, financial, marital problems in your life that appear to have defied solutions, will give way today as you call on the Lord who never fails.

Today we are going to address in the place of prayer those issues Jesus said can come out; can be solved only by prayer and fasting. And as you pray these prayers, you shall experience victory in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

Prayers against Foundational Problems

In Mark 9:14-27, a man brought His son to Jesus for help and deliverance. For most of his life, the son of this man used to have serious convulsions. Jesus, in trying to ascertain what kind of problem the son had or the origin of his problem, asked his father a simple question, “How long has he been like this?” The father replied “From childhood”. The boy had a problem that started from childhood, from when he was a little boy. This problem had been growing with him. It was a foundational problem; a problem that had become part and parcel of his life, a problem that could be traced to his childhood years. Foundational problems are the kind that can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.

Pray along these lines to be totally delivered from all foundational problems:

• Lord, visit my foundation with fire. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost go down to my foundation and consume every problem that started with and from my foundation.
• Let the fire of God burn to ashes every problem programmed into my life right from my foundation.
• Lord, deliver me today from every faulty spiritual, marital, financial, health and educational foundation. Set me free from every evil foundation.
• O Lord, my Father, let all faulty foundations be demolished and replaced with Jesus Christ Jesus. Lord Jesus, become my firm foundation from this moment.
• I command every problem that has been growing with me, that I keep seeing year in year out to lose me and let me go.

Prayers against Satanic or Demonic Problems

The problem of this man’s son was not an ordinary, mere physical problem. There was a demon behind his condition. In Mark 9:17 the father said “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of his speech. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid…” In Mark 9:22, still describing the operations of this evil spirit in his son’s life, he went on to say “it has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him…”

There were forces of darkness trying to mess up, ruin and destroy his son. But as soon as Jesus rebuked the evil spirit, the boy was completely set free. Today, the Lord will set you completely free from every spiritual, financial, marital, or health problem that there is a satanic force behind that problem. Problems of this nature need not just prayer but prayer combined with fasting to pull down and destroy the stronghold of evil. And as you pray and fast, the Lord will hear your prayer.

Pray these prayers to crush the activities of all satanic and demonic forces in your life:

• In the name of Jesus, I pull down the stronghold of evil in my life.
• Lord, you have promised to give me victory and trample down my enemies. O Lord, trample down; crush, squash and smash to pieces every force of darkness introducing problems and afflictions into my life and family.
• Holy Ghost fire, saturate my life and arrest every satanic force behind any problem in my life.
• I take authority over and rebuke in Jesus name, every demon, force and power of darkness from my life.
• I declare and decree that my eyes shall see the defeat of all my adversaries, my heart shall swell with joy for the great deliverance the Lord shall give me over all enemies of my joy and progress. My ears shall hear the good news of how the Almighty God has routed out all wicked foes against my life and destiny.

Prayers for Divine Help

This man had a serious problem in his life. He had an issue his son was battling with which gave him so much cause for concern. He didn’t fold his hands when he saw what was happening to his son. He tried to change the situation. He tried to get a solution. He brought his son to the Disciples of Christ, but they couldn’t do anything about his son’s problem. It was when he took his problem to Jesus that he got a solution. I don’t know that problem in your life you have taken to people, yet nothing has come out of it. As you present that problem to Jesus, the Solution Provider, He will give you a lasting solution to that problem. You won’t have to look for another person or try another thing; Jesus will give you all you need to have victory over that situation. What your parents, doctor, banker, closest friend, or even pastor has not been able to do for you, the Lord will do for you today as you pray these prayers:

• O Lord, forgive me for making You so small in my eyes. Forgive me for ignoring You and running to other people for help. Forgive me for putting more trust in people than I put in You. Now, I see my foolishness. I lift up my eyes to the hills; to the Lord who is my true Helper.
• Lord, give me a fresh and personal revelation of Your greatness and majesty today. Show me Your Almightiness. Do what only You can do in my life.
• Lord, I am helpless, tired and worn out from seeking solutions to that problem yet nothing has come out of it. You are the Helper of the helpless, help me O Lord.
• Arise, O Lord, lift up Your hand and help me out of every affliction. Draw me out of the pit of disappointment, despair and frustration.
• Father, let my cry for help get to You and answer me speedily. Answer me and put an end to that affliction, answer me and wipe away my tears, answer me and give me cause to testify and dance for joy this year. Thank You for that awesome testimony you have packaged for me. Thank You for hearing me for I have prayed in Jesus matchless name. AMEN!
