I am a light to my world. I am a child of light. There is no darkness in me.
I am committed to shining for Christ; this is my destiny, this is my heritage. I will not hide my light. I will not hide or camouflage my Christianity.
In the name of Jesus, my light will not go out. I will not walk in darkness. In the midst of darkness; in the midst of a crooked, twisted and perverse generation, my light is shining. The aura around me is that of light not darkness.
I love the Word of God and I devote quality time to God’s Word. The light of God’s word leads and guides me on the right path; God’s Word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path keeping me from error.
People see God’s love, power, mercy and kindness shining through me. The Holy Spirit who lives in me produces good deeds in me. As people see my good deeds inspired by the Holy Spirit, people are drawn to the light and love of Christ.
I am the salt of the earth; I will not lose my saltiness. My words are beneficial to others. My words add flavour; they spice up unpleasant, bitter and hopeless situations.
I fear God more than I fear men. I don’t join the crowd to grumble and complain about my nation and situations around me. I am a positive, restraining and sanctifying influence.
God uses my prayers and intercession, my life of integrity and godly living, my speaking and standing up for the truth, to remove the decay and rottenness in society.
I am not afraid to speak up for the truth or do things that are not considered popular, cool, or politically correct. The Lord is my light and salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
As salt and light are very useful to man, I am useful to my God and Maker. I use every opportunity that comes my way, to use the resources, gifts, abilities, revelations and insights God has given me to add flavour, seasoning and good.
I am the Joseph, Daniel and Esther of my generation; when I step into a place, people see evidence that God is with me, and the condition of that place improves not deteriorates. As I live the Christian life, as I live for God’s glory, great things happen in me and around in me.
