Hearers and Doers

Sometimes He speak through music and prose,

Other times with illustrations,

He passes across a timely message.

At times He speaks through our personal situations,

From time to time, through visons and dreams of the night.

Time after time, He uses His servants to speak;

He sends them with a message of hope, a message to correct and direct.

Even children aren’t left out,

He has His way of getting to them and using them;

For out of babes and nursing infants, He can tell you a thing or two.

Daily He speaks through His infallible Word;

The place you can find all He wants us to do and know.

Do we just hear Him when He speaks?

Or do we hear Him and obey?

It’s good to hear Him, it’s more profitable to hear Him and obey.
