1. Jesus is the only One that understands perfectly what you are going through:
In Hebrews 4:14-15, Jesus is described as a High Priest who is touched by our weaknesses; a High Priest who understands what we are going through and knows exactly how it feels to be in the situation we are in. Jesus has had firsthand experience of what it means to be insulted, mocked, falsely accused, betrayed, lonely, hungry, and tempted. So, when we bring our pains, needs, burdens and challenges to Jesus, He won’t turn His back on us or condemn us for having such weaknesses. On the contrary, because He knows what it means to be tempted, He is waiting and ready to help and give us what we need (Matthew 11:28-29).
2. Jesus makes the impossible possible.
In Luke 18:27, Jesus declared that “what is impossible with man is possible with God”.
When you have Jesus in you, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in you (Romans 8:11). The power to bring dead body organs, dead marriages, dead business, dead hopes and dreams back to life is at work in you. The power to turn water to wine; to turn trials to testimonies is at work in you. The power to bring something out of nothing, the power to change hopeless situations is at work in you. To live without Jesus is to cut yourself off from God’s amazing power to make the impossible possible.
3. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ.
The Bible in Acts 4:12 makes it clear that there is no other person, power or authority that can save us except our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus isn’t just one of many options to choose from; there’s no alternative outside Jesus. It is only in Christ that we can find and receive the salvation of our souls. There is no other name by which we can be saved from danger and evil but by the name JESUS. When we call on that name, every knee in heaven and on earth bows, every tongue confesses that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). In other words, the only name demons, powers, principalities and problems respect and submit to is the name of JESUS.
Do you have Jesus in your life? Please open your heart to Him and receive Him today if you are yet to repent of your sins and make Him your personal Lord and Saviour. To receive Jesus into your life, say this prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the sacrifice You made for me; thank You that You died to save me from my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. Forgive me for all my sins. I open my heart to you today. Please come into my life, live in me, work on me, and give me a new life.
