Abide In Him
God is by your side,
He wants to be your Guide,
But you need to abide,
Not push Him aside
Which can make you backslide,
Or even have a rough collide
With forces on your own you can’t outride.
But when you daily abide,
God is at your backside, bedside
And with you in times of low tide.
Truly there’s nothing worldwide
That can compare to the high tide
Of being inside the presence of the Great Guide.
So make sure you abide,
So you don’t get set aside,
And become petrified,
On the day Christ will decide,
If you are really His bride.
