JESUS LOVES ME

Jesus loves me this I know,

for over and over again the Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me this I know,

for He died to save and set me free.

Jesus loves me this I know,

for in good times and bad times He sticks close to me.

Jesus loves me this I know,

for He doesn’t come down hard on me;

He gives me space and time to change.

Jesus loves me this I know,

for He doesn’t ignore or forget me;

He sees my pain, He carries my burdens.

Jesus loves me this I know,

for I’m not just a number to Him,

He knows and calls my name.

Jesus loves me this I know,

for my flaws don’t put Him off,

He is not embarrassed to hang out with me.

Jesus loves me this I know,

for no person, no power, no situation

can separate me from God’s unfailing love.
