A KING IS BORN

Long, long ago,

Many long years ago,

A Child was born

A Son was given,

A King was crowned;

Saviour of the world.

Precious gifts were presented to Him,

Beautiful stories were told of Him,

Wonderful names were given to Him,

Friends and followers were added to Him.

He hears us when we call,

Carries us when we fall,

Walks with us when we stroll,

And chooses us by His own poll.

Many children have been born to men,

But none can match this Child that was born,

This Son that was given,

This Eternal King that came to give us peace.
