The Lord Is On My Side

If the Lord had not been on my side,

My bones would have become weak and feeble,

With no strength to function,

Thanks to God on my side, my bones are intact;

Not one of them is broken.

If the Lord had not been on my side,

Confusion would have taken over me,

sighing, sorrow and sadness would have eaten me up,

Big thanks to God on my side, in the face of difficulty,

His peace guards my heart and keeps my mind.

If the Lord had not been on my side,

The plots and schemes to waste and end my life would have materialized.

Special thanks to God on my side, I am shielded

in the shadow of His hand from those who rise up against me.

The Lord is on my side, by my side, at my side, no trouble or enemy can push me aside.
